You are enough!

The cash crop in the original colonies was tobacco and it ruined the soil. So farmers continually looked for new, uncultivated land out of economic necessity. Community designations like Old Fields or New Fields became common. By our own efforts, it seemed the land we had was never enough.

Centuries later, we live in a culture that says we might not be enough. Why? Thirst for progress and efficiency have driven us to develop mechanization and algorithms and data inputs and artificial intelligence that evaluate human worth. Old Fields and New Fields.

If this is familiar to you, please know that YOU ARE ENOUGH. God made you and that makes you enough. God came to you in human form for your own sake at a cost to God and that certainly makes you enough. During Christmas week, we can all look at life with the fresh perspective that we are enough.

Grace and peace.
